Projects

This past summer, the Placer-Sanchez family met Debbie Scott and Paul Robinson from Utange Orphan Charity. Together, they have worked with sponsors to feed hundreds of children in Utange, Kenya, for years. Specifically, they provide hot meals for approximately 500 orphans and 250 school-aged children from the Celebration School there annually. In addition, during the school year, they supply complimentary lunch and food packages for the children on the holidays so their families have nourishment while on break. Our family has personally provided the funds to construct a soup kitchen and a dining hall, which shall be named to honor its sister kitchen in Puerto Rico, Fondita Divino Niño Jesus. We are dedicated and committed to helping our brothers and sisters in Kenya. Construction officially began on September 13, 2023.
